My son Mikhail was born in 1944. This photograph was taken in 1950 in Leningrad near our house. I don’t remember who took it. At that time my husband served in Germany. Later Mikhail studied at the Polytechnical College in Leningrad and worked in Vienna for the International Agency for Atomic Energy.
