In 1948 my husband was demobilized, and we returned to Leningrad as a family of four. In Leningrad he attended the advanced training courses for half a year and got a certificate of radiology. And he worked in one of the Leningrad hospitals as a radiologist for about 30 years. We all lived with my mother-in-law in her large five-room apartment. She put a room at our disposal. And I went to work at the Chemical and Pharmaceutical College. I worked there for 5 years.
Here we were photographed at home in Leningrad in 1948. My elder son was 4 years old at that time.
