Certainly in our family we did not observe tradition in the full sense of the word. But we always celebrated Jewish holidays, and never ate pork. We began buying ham only after my mother-in-law had died. Nobody had such a good hand for matzah flour dishes as my sister-in-law. And my mother-in-law was a real master in stuffing fish! This photograph was taken in Leningrad in 1950. Here you can see us celebrating the wedding of my sister-in-law.
